¿En qué consiste una radiografía dental panorámica?

Una radiografía dental panorámica es una imagen radiográfica que muestra una vista panorámica de todos los dientes de la mandíbula superior e inferior y de los maxilares. Esta radiografía se utiliza a menudo para evaluar la salud de los dientes y las encías, así como para planificar tratamientos dentales como el ortodoncico.

La radiografía panorámica se realiza utilizando una máquina especial que emite radiación ionizante a través de los dientes y los maxilares.
